Who are we?

CIDRA stands for Centre for Integrated Development Research and Action; It is a values-driven consultancy firm providing consultancy and research services that create practical solutions and builds capabilities at the same time. Created in January 2012 and headquartered in Rwanda, CIDRA has acquired strong sectoral and intra-continental level talent base in Africa.

DATA QUALITY & METHODOLOGY

Our data quality assurance plan is comprehensive and proactive, considering all plausible issues that could arise during data collection and implementing measures to prevent them. We use a variety of approaches and techniques, such as well-designed tools, preparing and programming the data collection activity, back- checks, and high-frequency checks, to ensure high-quality data.

Open Data Kit (ODK), Survey CTO, and KOBO Collect. The above software primarily assists in the data management process, and when necessary, credentials are provided to our client for joint day-to-day monitoring of the data collection activity.

EXCEL, SPSS, STATA, PYTHON for quantitative surveys and NVIVO, Natural Language Processing (text mining technique) for qualitative data analysis.
